First off, this is a great website. Thanks to those who have put this together. I need some help from any active hog drivers out there. I am nearing graduation from SUPT and am undecided as to what fighter I want to fly. I find pro's and con's in them all. If there are any pilots out there who could email me so I could ask you a few questions, it might help me make my decision. My current training squadron only has 1 hog pilot, so I'm short on resources. I know any A-10 pilot reading this is probably busy, but I'd appreciate the help. jibop@broadcast.net |

First one must ask themselves wether to be a Fighter pilot or an Attack pilot. Fighter pilots make movies. Attack Pilots make history! Everyone else distributes and hands out the popcorn. "The power to Destroy the planet, is insignifigant to the power of the Air Force----Mudd Vader |

The idea of being an attack pilot is pretty appealing. It seems the F-guys are small bombers these days. I like the idea of being personally involved in what I'm destroying, vs lazing a target and pickling from FL200. |

Hey now, you can still pickle a "lazed" target from altitude in the A-10. Ugly but Well Hung |

Speaking of that, how high does the hog go up to? I saw a ceiling listed of 450? What is an average cruise alititude, and what is the highest you'll drop bombs from? |
