11/19/2003 - KIRKUK AIR BASE, Iraq -- 303rd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron's final mission here supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. During the unit's eight-month deployment, squadron pilots flew 1,164 combat sorties and 3,360 flying hours without combat damage. Squadron airmen also helped establish two bases in Iraq. The reservists left Nov 18 for Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.

This is awfull but who are the 303rd guys ? I know the bases but we hardly ever refer to them as the unit numbers. Somebody throw me a Battle Creek, Whiteman, etc etc etc.

By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson
