OK, need to tap some of the expertise here. I got a patch the other day wiht 'FYATCYRIO - Thunder and Litening' on it and I cannot figure out what the 'FYATCYRIO' bit means. It looks like this...

It's a Spoof of the American West. Change the Camel to a horse. And you have a saying that has lasted decades.

To an American Cowboy it is the ultimate insult. It trashes Both his Horse and the Riders Repoir.

This patch is reflecting the same atitude and its artists rendering of an Iraqi Squad launcher.

Sir Mudd

I am in awe of your knowledge of both the American West and the Middle East. <img src=newicons/anim_bow.gif border=0 align=middle>

Many thanks, my friend, that is one mystery off the list!

Cheers! M2

Add in this pic is referenceing Night operations and the lightening ATFLIR pod. SCUDS historically came out of their hides at night to fire their missiles.

We got some of those patches over in OIF. I had to ask what it stood for also. I dont dare put it on my jacket lest I have to explain it to my kids.

By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson
