Goob, the 1/10 scale model was donated the Hill Avition Muesum and is in storage waiting for them to bulid of a new hanger, which should be in the next couple of years. The 1/20 balsa model was donated to the Utah State ROTC where they referbed it and it's hanging in the entrance to the ROTC building... I still have the 1/20 scale model and in fact it's in the trunk of my car toady. We are looking at casting a mold of it so we can make some fiberglass models to place arounmd the base. HMFIC |

dice it it me or did the rotc guys hang mk-82's on sta 1? I know 'tech' you could hang one there, but I have never seen one. Also why would they put FT teeth on. I guess I am just being critical here but you would think that being in a ROTC unit the scale model would be 'realistic'...you know me attention to detal....pick everything apart...sometimes my wife hates that!! lol! There are MK-82s across the board and Two MERs on 5 & 7. I guess they liked the looks of the teeth so used them. Also look at the tail code...UT! HMFIC |

My contact picked-up the model today and is taking it to the fab shop for his guys to look at. There's a lot of work to do on the model before a cast can be made and he's not sure how they will handle the engines. It will be a couple of months before anything happens with this project and I'm not sure I can get any for sale. By the time the model is finished and the fist model produced I may not be here anymore..... HMFIC |

No big deal, I kinda figured it would be a looooooong shot to get one anyway, probably would be about 1,000 bux by the time it was packed and shipped. But a guy's gotta have dreams, and it never hurts to ask... High On The Hog |
