Anyone remember when the A-10 officially pick up CSAR as an additional mission? "face it....perhaps your only purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others!" |

The A-10 has had the CSAR mission since it first came into service. The stateside A-10 units have always carried the mission, USAFE units didn't pick it up until after WWDS. I think Korea and Alaska trained to CSAR from the start as well. Coach |
