I got a reprieve from the Governor! The SPD said if ACC would not pay for my trip the SPO would. Well come to find out ACC has been having puter problems and that’s why they haven’t sent me a fund-site to cut my orders with. When the SPD and ACC start talking I got a call with my fund-site…so I AM going to Hawgsmoke!! *Dice does his happy dance* HMFIC |

Hey Joe, Just finishing the packing, catching the plane in the morning to Shreveport, YEEEEHAAAA. Really glad to hear you are gonna make it after all as H-Smoke would not be the same without one of the A-10s biggest supporters in attendance. Just think, all that lovely door art all in one place! See you next week, and anyone else here who attends come up and say hi, I'll be one of the few with the British accent, trying to break free of the media scrum, always with a camera round my neck. Comfort Inn is on Bolton Ave. (just off of McArthur, just south of I49, just west of the St. Troopers hdqrts) Here's a map link...http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?ed=FQcaOep_0Tqk_NYSuJv07cB6zgHSlwZy4xY-&csz=ALEXANDRIA+LA+71303&country=us&cat= The main traffic circle is the intersection of McArthur & Masonic. Tunks is 10-15 miles south on 28, they are in the processs of making 28 4 lane, so the turn into Tunks looks different that it once did, but they should still have the sign up, it's just far off the new road in process....if you start crossing the lake on 28 you've gone to far, if you reach Gardner you've gone to far also. Alligator is good there, Crawfish season is getting close to ending, but they should still be serving them too. |
