Would be true for the Hog in the pre-Desert Storm days. That would suck for A-10s today, since the bread and butter of training these days is in the medium altitude arena.

You'd be implying that helo crews are the only intelligent life in the aviation world.

I miss the bare minimums of Ov10/AH1 Gunship escorts. You will never see anymore of that today on a Conus training range. Or any range for the most part in Germania. Sad really. A white knuckle day today is just driving to work. <img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

Their Was allot of fun courses in the early 80's with bare minimum penci Fix to Fix timings. Loved the shit out of NOE LATN work. Were becoming way to dependent on the pluggers.
