Any heads-up advice you can give would be great, Warthog30! One of his coworkers has promised to take him fishing. Use my .mil if you want/need to: cullerr@nga.mil I'm hoping he meets up with a Hawg crew and can wrangle a patch or something! Thanks, WH30. Yeah, he's looking for places to go, good eats, watering holes, etc. Wants to make a good impression and pull his weight, too. "Live every day like it's the last, 'cause one day you're gonna be right!" Ray Charles |

30MM Jr is having a great time up north. Working hard, etc. Had a black bear wander onto the flight line, which security "escorted" elsewhere. Watched a dragonfly land on his leg but realized in time it was a mosquitoe!<img src=newicons/anim_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=newicons/anim_lol.gif border=0 align=middle> "Live every day like it's the last, 'cause one day you're gonna be right!" Home safe and sound. IL Guard 126th had 100% mission success for the 2 weeks they were there. They fed a mix of F-14, F-15, F-16 <spit>, F-18 (Navy and Marine) and of course the A-10. Said one of the mach-snots favorite games was to buzz the field in full burner. Said it was fun at first but got real old real fast. Especially when the Marines did run-ups at 0430. At one point a pair of Lawndarts did a high speed "gun pass" did a crack the whip turn at the end of the base and came back for another pass. Impressive, he said, until a flight of Hawgs came over, in formation then did turn at the end of the runway (still in formation)and made their 2nd pass. "THAT was impressive. You wouldn't have had time to reset or reload." "Live every day like it's the last, 'cause one day you're gonna be right!" Ray Charles (6/10/04 was the day) |
