Don't use saddlebags, they make you lazy so you end up carrying too much useless crap to the jet and if they come unhooked when you unload they end up in your lap (they hit the pickle button at the most inopportune time). Plus, they block your vision out the quarter panels. Get yourself a good pubs bag from Royal Bag in Korea (Tiny Giant), keep it under the bungee cord. The pubs bag from Mardon is OK, but the pocket in the back isn't big enough for a DTC and the pocket on the front is too small for two 8mm tapes.
Not to mention, when the much heralded A-10C comes along, there won't be any room for saddlebags because the MFDs force the glareshield to go all the way out to the window...no room for anything there.
