You have to be kidding me! I just called Tony ( the DCC of 640 ) about the news. I think hes a little worried now!
I just checked on Warthogpen and most of the pictures of 666 on the demon page wont even load at all. Can someone fix those URL's ?

I wouldn't look at this as a bad thing, his aircraft now has a deeper history and lot of stories to tell about her!

The pictures are not working on my site? I will look into it as soon as I can.....may be later tonight before I can get to it.

The Hog Pen pages are fixed now, let me know if you have any problems. I really need to take my site off-line and clean it up a bit, maybe in 2005....

BTW do you guys know which wing you got during SLEP1 (if you have a new one already) and what the history of that aircraft was? <img src=newicons/saevil.gif border=0 align=middle>

Sorry Dice I am a technician and I am off untill Monday morning at 0700. If you want that info before then you will have to ask the union steward for permission to talk work. Just joking. I dont know what airplanes have which but I am sure that the info is readilly available in Plans and Scheduling. Thay keep the records. I can find out Monday and then if anyone out there knows the history they can fill it in.

Hello all,
I am the crew chief of said 640. The jet is possesed as it is and now this... We just changed the door art after years of the snake being called a cobra and not its real type which should be a python. I'll be reserving my spot in the hangar on Tuesday

I'll dig up some numbers so we can stick 640 next to 216 at the orderly room side :)

Hawg166, you mis-understand me, I have all the wing data and where each wing went, I was implying maybe the wing you guys got on you jet may have just as an interesting history as 666's wing... so don't give 640's CC to hard of a time!

Tony, be proud of that jet, it's really special! Also I would disappoint everyone here if I didn't ask...what's on your door now and how about a pic and some background info!! I have shots of both of the Python designs......

Maybe you could add a small "demon" somewhere on the door kinda' like the rock band Dangerous Toys do with their album covers...

dice you trying to passs my idea on......i see!! Lol maybe like DT#3. Maiden always has some god artwork. Tripple six wasnty that bad of a jet, I worked it a bit at the beach, however the problems will drive you nuts trying to fix

Yep, DT was the door that got me into collecting door art in the first place so it has a special place in my heart!! I mean a demented clown and the title Dangerous Toy for an A-10...just fits so well!!

I thought Billy had posted the new picture here. When (if) it gets back to Barnes I'll use my handy dandy new digital camera and post some. It was done by one of our former crew chief's cousin. He is a art student and I was looking for something a bit on the dark side and not a cartoon type picture. I think he did a good job but now we may have to change it up again. You gave me some good ideas. 50 hours til phase and it'll get done.

JB, I like both for different reasons, DT 1 is nice because it looks like he is about to come off/out of the door on whoever is looking at him, very intimidating. In the picture I have of this door the colors are also crisper and sharper so looks better than DT2. I like DT2 because you can see more of the “Jack-in-the-box” and the addition of the Maverick is also nice.

Tony, Is the new door a stylized python with lots of yellows and reds? I thought you might have done another theme, I have pictures of that one but, thanks for the offer and keep me in mind if/when you do a new door.

Well dice i have to agree with you on the clown seems to 'jump out' at ya on DT1, however the detial os better on DT2 for instance, did you notice the "75" earing that the clown was wearing? That was for the 75th FS when I had it at pope. There are several other little detials I had put in it, like you saw the mav.

Tony, how do you know, did you look at the wings data plate? I'll have to talk to AMARC (since my LT. at work gave me the wrong info) and see were 666s wing went, must have been a last minute change. <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>
