It was a guard Hog that had evaded 6 SAM launches over the former Yugoslavia.......possibly on a single mission during Op Deliberate Force?....I think the jet was an MA tail from Barnes possibly 78-0626.......(sorry Billy if I have stolen your 'Thunder') <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle> I'd appreciate an accurate version, as I heard about it in the dim and distant past. Naw your right but it was during Deny Flight. And he evaded 6 SAMS all at once as I remember it. We were flying out of Aviano when it happened. I think it was the August or September time frame. By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson |
