That record is huge here at the mo and getting a load of airplay.
Bentwaters is a popular film location now it would seem...........much rather see Hogs there though.

I FEEL OLD NOW... I couldnt fathom 20 years ago that These Cold war/ww2 facilities would become tourist hot spots today.

Across the street from Torri Station, Okinawa. There is a parking lot that previously was a ww2 airfield called home to the deadliest Zero Squadron of the Japanese Navy. I found this out by an Okinawan Taxi driver whose father used to work on the civil engineering of the airfield. And Here I was Drunk off my ass with a couple buddies from visiting the "Peace love rock and Roll festival" being hosted as a friendship day with the okinawan citizens on a US army base."

It really makes me wonder what IRAQ or Bosnia will be for me as a Vet/tourist in the next 20 years.

But it certainly is what Ive come to expect.

Mindless babbling with no intent to either enlighten or inform.

Here in the UK there are alot of former Battle of Britain airfield locations which are now housing or industrial estates........or soon will be as developers are hungrily eyeing them up to house all the illegal immigrants.
At least Bentwaters and Woodbridge are still recognisable as airfields.
Its about 12 years already since the last of the Hogs flew out of Bentwaters........shit.

There have been several tv shows etc use Bentwaters as a backdrop for various programmes. From a show which was based around a cross between the UFO landing and a paintball game to automobile review programmes.

BTW the other bits in the Wires vid are recorded on Orford Ness, which was also home to squadron under the 81st TFW for a few years (81st RRS).

I'd rather see Hogs there too...... Or at least one......Grrrrrrrrrrrr
