Just out of curiousity, I have two questions. Do A-10 Guys use the Combat Edge system at all? I'm currently at UPT and was issued the new MBU-20/P mask with all the CE stuff plugged up. It's the only mask that seals up to my face and I was just curious if current A-10 guys get issued this new mask because of fit/seal problems like myself even if the CE capability isn't used? It seems that every picture of an A-10 pilot shows them wearing the MBU-12/P or MBU-9/P (Grey and Green masks). Thanks |

The A-10 isnt set up for combat edge. "face it....perhaps your only purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others!" |

The new CE compatible masks are being issued to A-10 pilots as the older style masks wear out. CE is not used in the jet however. |
