It was allright. I mean as far as maintaners go how different can it be. There wasnt a lot of sorties flown, I think just 12 or 14 a day for us and the jets were strong for the most part. The weather was real nice though. A couple days the wind was really screaming though and it made life tuff, ya know running away from tumble weeds and all. But got a chance to go back to the town of rachel again outside of Area 51, and then I drove the road off the highway to the hill surrounding Groom Lake. I stopped when I saw the black pickup trucks and the signs saying stop or die. The operation apparently was good. I gues there was amjor airspace violation by one of our pilots that was a big deal but that is really invisible to the maintenance guys. We dropped some LGB's and shot a few Mav's and i think killed a few fake badguys.

Oh yeah forgot, it was the largest Red Flag in the history of the excercise. It was Army Navy Air Force and Marines and some Royal Air Force and Royal Navy. There were GR 1's and later on some of mt personal favorites the Jaguars showed up. There was even a Hawker Sidley Nimrod there. I was a bit dissapointed because the F-21 K-fir never showed up.

there are some awesome pictures on Fencecheck forums
http://www.fencecheck.com/forums/index.php?topic=2346.0

Some of these guys are just so talented in what they do. Of course it helps to have 15 grand in photography equipment, but the talent is learned...

Tyson Rininger is like a GOD over there, his talent has got him in so many places it amazes me. He gets all his pictures okayed by PA prior to any posting. When you play by the rules, it opens many doors!

This his one of his shots of the MA Lead

You were in town and didn't hit me up??? I saw your pigs sitting over on our spots, but didn't know who was with them. What a shame...

Anyone else coming through Nellis anytime soon?

How was he supposed to know? You never come to visit us anymore! You get your own job, your own place and suddenly you're too good for us. Good to hear from you, Raven!

30MM: Been real busy lately...but I think I am back into the swing of things again, and can start making time to come around. I've got company in town this weekend, so I won't be using the computer much, but other than that, I should be around more often, even if just to skim the threads.
