Dice all this talk about Modification to the A-10 made me remember something I had long stored away in the empty recess of my mind. I dont remember the year or tail number (this is where you come in) but I remember installing a test Electronic Gun Control Unit EGCU on an aircraft at Myrtle Beach. The standard EGCU was a GE product but this one was made by a company called BASE 10. I installed the thing on night shift and the next day the jet crashed killing the pilot in the Britons Neck area of SC (Between Shaw and MB). Dice can you find out anything on the Tail Number? It was a 356TFS Demon Jet. See if you can find out anything about the company also. Any info would be appreciated.

That's right. His wing man had smoke. He was reading the checklist and lost S/A. Tragic deal really.

Which flight were you in, A or B? I was in weapons. Your name sounds familar but that was a long time ago.

Strat, I wasn in A flight working nights for Rochan (raoch) untill Spencer Came to A Flt. At the time I drove a red firebird when I lived in the dorms.

Dice That was too early, it would have been like 90-91 time frame..

Dice, JB is right. It was later than 84. I didn't get to Demon until late 87. So it had to be later.
