Awesome pictures!
I'm traveling to the USA myself in august. Is there anyone working on DM, or has a friend out there, who has some spare time on tuesday august 16th or otherwise during that week to show 2 HawgFreaks around in order to make the same kind of perfect pictures like Don did??
I'd appriciate any help! The base PAO always wants to put us on a bus sinds 1997, speeding the flightline. That's not good for us, I'm afraid.

Cheers!

Peter

Really great photos. The second West Coast picture looks like my old jet from EAFB 142, from way back in 1980 when it was brand new. At Hawg Smoke at Alex I found out the Team Leader flies it. Also was reunited with it when Maj. Brogan flew it in, and took me out on the ramp to see it.Now is that lucky or what??

Great shots. I see me old jet, 141, was jsut painted (no teeth)
I was thinking, and this I guess is a good opportunity to ask the question:
When a jet gets painted, they are all done exactly alike, even if they will require different things when they get back to home station. Why? For instance, the jets at Pope all have teeth (duh) then how come depot (or whoever) paints the tail # on the nose? Why not leave it blank there? It's just going to get removed and put on the gear pods. Same with Eielson's intakes. Here the inlet lip and spinner domes are painted very dark grey, so you can see icing while flying, but they come back painted light grey.
