When I read his offer "5 30mm PGU-13 A/B rounds" I thought <b>what the hell!</b> but if you look at the pictures you can see how he's doing it.

No projectiles. Interesting, I guess the unsuspecting buyer may be caught unaware and get stuck with 30MM casings. At least he has the LTC's (Linked Tube Carriers).

Yea, he/she make them sound special because the are HEI cases and not TP, unless they were fired in conbat I don't see a big diffrance in TP/HEI cases...maybe that's just me.

Dice I agree and the thing about combat is there is really no way to prove they were used in combat. I have some I collected from DS1. I loaded the rounds and downloaded the brass however I cant prove it.

Unless someone does forensics on the dust on the one Raven gave me at Bagram, I can't prove my claim, either. But <b>I</b> know! <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Fortunately during OEF they required us to obtain a letter stating that our 30MM rounds where not "War Trophies". So at least I have some form of documentation establishing the time frame and location that they where used. Thankfully I didn't discard this letter, instead for some reason, I rolled it up and placed it inside one of the casings. It wasn't until almost a year afterwards while taking pictures of the rounds to post about the different colors that I discovered the letter tucked away. Wish I would have been as lucky with the casings I collected from the AC-130 during Just Cause.

BTW Dice, did you ever find any info out on the "Red" Shell cases we talked about some time ago?
