Hey Dice, can you expand on exactly what, if anything, this means to the field?

Chief, basicly the work will be done here but the money will be controled there. Hopefuly it will not affect the field but will add a "layer" of management to go through here. It also has some +s in the fact a lot of funding "flows" through Wright-pat and now the A-10 has people "in place" to try an get some of it.

Thats really nice...two of the four programs are ones we voted down at the last ASRRC (CATS and PUP).

These guys have their finger on the pulse of the field, that's for sure.

After seeing the Monster Garage install option for CATS, I can understand why it was voted down at the ASRRC. I'm surprised that operators would be against the PUP. Is it simply a matter of what priorities you what to see on the aircraft first Coach?

It is a cost-benefit problem. You ask me if I "want" new engines, I say yes emphatically. But if you ask me if I "need" new engines, I saw no. Especially at the cost of significant amounts of force structure. Not one airfraame for new motors.

It would be nice to see the JSF Scrapped in numbers, and have the A10's begin reproduction.

Intresting Dice-man. If I read it right, than are A-10's moving to Dayton.
I was asking for myself: "how far is the A-10c version this moment?"
