Whilst clearing out some crap, I found the magazine that first got me interested in the Hog.

It was a weekly publication called "Weapons and Warefare" and was supposed to build up into an encyclopedia. As it was in alphabetical order, guess what was in the first issue (so was the AH64).

It doesn't contain any info that you guys don't already know and is typical of something a kid would enjoy so the technical detail is very limited. The Hog info runs to four pages.

I'm guessing it would have been published in the mid 70's.

Rather than throw it out, if any of you collect A-10 stuff and would like to add this to a collection, drop me an email and I'll post it over.

Sounds like something Dice would be interested in.

In the event that more than one person expresses an interest, priority would go to the most senior (experience NOT age <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>) member of WT.

44, I would love to have that mag, don't know what I'm going to do with all the A-10 stuff I've collected but, be asured it will have a good home.

I was going to ask if you had any record of the tail numbers.

It would be pretty cool if anybody on WT had had some contact with them.

But both the planes must be well old by now as the magazine itself must be 25 years old.
