Hey Dice, I just got back from MB and they moved their A-10 and A-6 to a park that I guess was near the old front gate. I took some pictures before departing for home today. If you, or anyone else is interested in them let me know. They did them up pretty nice. Much better than the Otis guards that are just rotting in the sun

TG I guess you didnt notice the paint was peeling badly on top of both jets? The guys from my squadron were the ones that last painted those jets years ago. They desperately need attention. Fender "A woman drove me to drink and I hadn't even the courtesy to thank her". W.C. Fields |

yeah, there was peeling in spots, but the ones I saw at Otis had no attention at all. Really sad to see the base history just sit there and succumb to the elements.... The A-6 did look worse than the A-10 I thought. Wish Pease would have kept their gate guards, but the town of Portsmouth didn't want to take care of them
