Actually, it's quite funny in a tongue-in-cheek way. Of course, political satire is an acquired taste that takes some basic situational knowledge to understand. I wouldn't expect a foreigner to get it. But I also wouldn't expect a foreigner to go shooting his mouth off about something he doesn't understand, either, but that's just me.
