Fold up/down wings/tail?

One of Pete's photos shows a 'hog with what seems to be a 'missing' tail section. Do these fold up or down or are they 'removable' somehow. I am not aware of the wings being foldable, like carrier-based planes are some times, but if I'm wrong on that one, please educate me on that as well.

Chris, there's no foldable structure on the A-10. Some of the structure (verticle stab, outter wing panels, center wing assembly) is/are removable but not without a lot of work.
