LOL Thats a pretty good analysis I guess. LOl Costs are a hard thing to get a handle on. It appears though that the Raptors fly-away cost with multi year incremental funding is $175m each. About $350m per aircraft Total Program Cost overall. The first 424 JSF are to cost $49 billion almost 116m per aircraft. Cant readily acsertain if this fly-away or Total Program cost but its still about three times the initial cost estimates if I remember them correctly. It will be interesting to watch and see if the USN is forced bail on this program. And its no wonder the USAF wants to by more Raptors and fewer JSF. |
