Someone contacted me about those pics of the T-38s that ran into a hailstorm in flight. He wants to know where it happened and where they landed. I have no idea but the banner under the planes in one of the pics says "WELCOME FOURTH.....something" can anyone ID the location? <img src="http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/8638/hailbanner4kl.jpg" border=0> A 45 has a muzzle. Navy TPS T-38's from PAX. A flight of 2 pressed into a a hailstorm for Extended crew rest and landed at "See more Dick" AFB in NC. The planes were Shipped back Via trash Air from Randolf. "Fourth" is the banner on transient row that says "Welcome to the fourth Fighter Wing" |
