BTW, the F-14 executes the Cobra at the 2:18 point of that video.

If you pay attention to the flight sequences in "The Final Countdown" while the VF-84 Tomcats are hamming it up with the Zero's, one of them actually experiences a departure, cool shot watching Tomcat recover... I understand that there are a few F-22's at Oceana right now, while the runway at Langley gets a makeover. VF-31 is still operational untill they stand-down in September, probabaly a good time for the Tomcatters to fly some DACT for the F-22's, to replicate the Iranian F-14's... |
