heads up! our local PBS is re-running the 2 hour Nova episode chronicling the JSF competition, I didnt see it but heard it was good. So "check your local listings", it may be making the rounds again. my local station is following the 2 hour JSF Nova , with a 1 hour program on special forces. yeah just saw it. The first half of the 2 hours is actually from a couple of years ago, the 2nd hour is flight test footage from Edwards. Not as big a deal as I had hoped, but sure was fun watching these protos pull up off the runway and go near verticle on all that thrust LOL. About two months ago a programme on the JSF competition was shown in the UK. I enjoyed it but it stopped short of showing any flight testing. Was it the same one? Where the Boeing project manager went from lots of black hair to very little grey hair in 18 months LOL... Other high points where wrinkled composite wings and taking 7 days to machine a titanium bulkhead. Oh and losing about $20 million USD. So that'll be situation normal then... this one went all the way through seeing which acft was selected and then both teams reactions...showed flight tests for both acft...very indepth show... Brought to you by your friendly neighborhood moderator... If you can't go fast...go Ugly

yeah your right about the hair and bulkhead, probly the same show. The first 10 minits was PBS telling us how wonderful they were for going where no-one else had gone "behind closed doors".
