Just wondering if anyone knows all the shows that the F-14 Demo team is gonna do before the end. I know that there are 6 and Columbia, Missouri is going to be one of them, and I can't wait to go by the way, but I might try to go to any others if they are anywhere around. Sad times for the Tomcat, but I'm excited to go see it fly.

Here it is, the complete F-14 demo schedule for the Tomcat's final show season! Tis a sad year, I suggest everybody try to see this demo one last time, or in my case the first and only time. I may try to go to Columbia, Missouri if I have the funds by the end of the month.

If there's that many shows I just may be able to go to more than one. at this site it says one of six civilian shows with the Tomcat. I went to this airshow last year, and it was about 50 degrees and cloudy, but the Superhornet came through and was basically the best part. This time it looks a whole lot better, I hope. You'll love the Tomcat, once you see and hear it, you'll never want/love another.

I tried to get to the NAS Atlanta show but too many others has the same idea. I live 4 miles from show center and after two hours in traffic I felt lucky to be home again opening an adult beverage. I did manage to glimpse the F-14 from my cul-de-sac vantage point. It still looks good.

Well, there has been one change to the schedule I provided you. The Tomcat demo set in September for NAS JRB Ft. Worth is a typo. The show at NAS JRB Ft. Worth is this weekend (Saturday, May 15th) and according to the base PAO, its a confirmed demo. So, that means I won't have to go all the way to Columbia, I get to see the Tomcat this Saturday!

This show is looking to be one of the best shows I have ever seen too:
- F-14 Tomcat Demo
- F/A-18 Hornet West Coast Demo
- AV-8B Harrier West Coast Demo
- F-15 West Coast Demo
- Lockheed Martin F-16 Demo

That F-16 demo is NOT the USAF demo, but it is the Lockheed factory demo, flown by the chief test pilot! The F-104 Starfighters are also supposed to do a performance, but I am hearing they have cancelled for some reason <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>. The Tomcat makes up for that though!

I saw the demo yesterday, and it is one of the coolest. If you have the opportunity to see it this year, and for the last time, do so!

I'm planning on taking some good pics of the Tomcat the 29th. I can't wait to go, it'll also be my first airshow of the season.
If anyone is planning on going to the Columbia show, here's the site:

No Blue Angels or T-birds, but still the Tomcat and the F-18 demo look to be pretty good.
