I am back from Enland, Fairford. The show was great.
Two B-1 and two B-52 and also two A-10. Four Romanian Mig 21 and Polish SU-22. A lot of planes in Tiger colours. Red Arrows with three Spitfires for a salute. An flying Lancaster from WW2. There was to much to say it all here.

Let me know if somebody of you gonna to an airshow and what you see.

Hi Duchy - went from Thur to Mon - camped above the base - only went on base on Monday for liftoff - been going 20 yrs so dont go on for static these days - there is a gravel extraction pit to North side of base that aircraft turn over away from display etc - this is where we sit the view are unbelievable - we also had the ScanEagle over us for several minutes on the Saturday - as usual i have mixed feelings about the show - it's inevitable when you have been there so many times but over 5 days you have a good time - have you seen pictures of the Eurofighter recovering from a dive at an estimated 16 feet during its' practice display on Friday - it piled on the afterburner and damaged the tarmac ! The weather made all the difference we came back like lobsters despite the weather closing in on Monday for the lift off...Loz.
