Ah yes. The telltale smoke of the GE J-79 engine, two of which power the F-4 I believe. It ain't the heat it's the humility. |

I miss that sound! I used to hear and see them all the time while I was stationed at Bitburg. The German F-104's were regular participants in our war games. The F-15's shot them all down before they could get to the base.....and then they let them go loooooow level over the base so we could practice our portion of the exercise. <img src="http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/457/bgnrjsiiw81q1gc.jpg" border=0> You can't be considered a failure if someone can use you as a bad example. |

Great to see it. I know in the USA fly two Starfighters with private pilots. The F-104's are an single and an two-seater. The film was placed from an Dutch site. Salute Dutchy Termites do it in the dark! (47FS Barksdale afb) |
