Interestingly, I don't think I've ever flown with a Mav that had a dome cover installed.

We had them on all the time over in the desert. We took to the habit of having them removed (or breaking them on the ground) because the charge that was supposed to shatter them kept failing in flight. Instant unusable Mav (depending on the model).

I'd heard some of the units did, but I know my unit didn't have them in Iraq, and I can't remember if we had them in Jaber the year before.
Dome cover than won't come off........nice. Does make for an expensive air-ground rocket, though.
