Notice the slight 'curvy' look in those photos? I see a similar look when using a spotting scope to watch a rifle shooter from behind when he's firing at long ranges (500yds). The corkscrew flight path is easily seen...not the round of course, just it's path.

Good demonstration of being a HUD Monkey...he got blown all downwind but no worries, the green stuff lets him get a hit.

Hehehe! Ain't that the truth!

I tell some of the young folks I work with today that when all the magic fails just remember the golden rule...

...be a pilot!

Sad thing is that so few know what that means anymore.

Quite true. The effect is especially pronounced with .50BMG heavy sniper rifles.
