Correct me if I have it wrong.
But this is what I know and read in Combat Aircraft

103rd FW - close in 2008 (-15)
124th Wing/190th FS from 15 to 18 Warthogs (+3)
175th Wing/104th FS from 15 to 18 (+3)
104th FW/131FS 15 to 18 (+3)
110th FW/172nd FS Close in ??? (-15)
111th FW/103rd FS Close between 2007- 2010 (-15)
917th Wing/47FS from 15 to 24 (+9)
926th FW/706th FS is this split up in other wings?
442nd FW/303rd FS from 15 to 24 (+9)

Some are going bigger, some are closed or gone in other wings/squadrons.
If somebody knew more or can correct this list, be mine guest.

Last I heard the 104th FW (MA ANG) is losing their A-10s. I also haven't heard anything about the 110th FW (MI ANG) closing. And the 111th FW I'm pretty sure will lose their Hogs at the end of 2009 beginning of 2010.

Waltz41, that is what I wrote first about the 104th FW. My question by the list is if somebody know more and can correct the list. One said it is closing and another said it getting more planes.

Ok Dutchy. I'd be really interested then if that IS NOT the case, I've been under that assumption for a long time now.

the 104 is losing their jets....my unit has already gained a few of them.

They are losing their A-10s and getting F-15s.

I'm not sure what their wing will be called, but the 103rd will be getting C-21s.. Not a FW anymore, sounds more like a transportation wing.

from what i read, the Battle Creek hogs were going over to the east side of the state to replace F-16s, but that wasnt going to happen til maybe 09?

dont quote me on that, but im sure some research could be done to get a solid answer
