Fine with me. Last time the two teams met in the playoffs it was a great game that went right down to the wire.

I'd be cool with a rematch. :)

Well guys, my team is out of it, have been for a long time, thus it is now time for me to root them on to the Eli Manning sweepstakes, but I dunno what the point would be, untill Al Davis goes, the team has no chance.

I have to say this honestlty, while I wouldn't mind seeing Philly win it all, I have to root for Tennesee for no other reason than Steve McNair made a believer out of me in last years AFC championship game, and though it was a loss for the Titans, that had to be one of the gutsiest QB performaces I have ever seen....Jimmy MacMahon comming off the bench injured in the playoffs was the best.

I miss Jimmy Macs knack for political un-correctness...

Jimmy Mac was a beloved player here.

What a character. :)

I loved his "O" hat.

McNair is the real deal, a players heart bigger than all outdoors, a man among men, plug in whatever cliche you want it all applies to him. What's with these Irishmen lol. Rams wont get to much farther with Bulger, and if Martz wont take him out in a performance like he had last week (3 BAD int and a fumble IIRC) then what are they even dressing Warner for? 1nce again Martz=idiot

Martz really is an idiot.

It's a shame to see how he has destroyed Dick V's juggernaut.

Had Vermeil stayed you'd be on about your 4th superbowl ring by now.

Well, Rams and Eagles both at 9-3.

This should be a fun stretch run. :)

Dude, I told you your Eagles would be ok, they play very solid physical football, and that style of football wins Super Bowls....Baltimore, and Tampa are two teams that come to mind, and in all honestly Philly has better tools on offense then both of those teams, despite their limited talent at Wide Reciever...

With Jerry Rice being so ageless lets bring Mike Quick back, I bet he can still run a solid pass route and a 4.6 range 40...

Mike Quick is the coolest name I have ever seen for a game breaking wide reciever, use to love to watch Randall and Jaworski try to over throw him, never happened...

I'm not healthy enough to appreciate this weeks games but I though the Rams-Viks game would be much closer. The KC game? I guess everybody brings thier A+ game when the big dog comes to town. Fluties a tough scrappy competitor and SD does have some good recievers.

<*** WARNING - Groaner Alert ***>

Nah, football's cool.

The sport that's gotta go is "water polo," hands down.

I mean, come on... it's gotta be hell on the horses...

Personally I think SCUBA gear would make for a more interesting game. Deep-diving compared to snorkels...

SCUBA was banned from water polo in 1966 after the famous "horses on helium" scandel in which it was deemed the helium farts from the horses just made everyones voices sound too ridiculous to continue a serious game. Snorkels were introduced at the request of the Samoan Olympic delegation in order to controll costs of supporting a team over the course of a year.

I know what you were going to ask, and the answer is, the same as for the guys riding the horses. A VERY thorough colonic an hour or so before the match begins.

Well, Eagles have siezed 1st place in the NFC East and clinched a playoff berth by destroying the Dallas Cowgirls 36-10 and winning 8 straight, and 9 of the last 10.

Rams Eagles NFC championship rematch?

Looking like it.... :)

You can't win them all, and Denver is not a bad football team despite their recent struggles. They soundly beat the Raiders last week, good teams win games they are supposed to, and played well against a very good KC Chief team. It looks like both Super Bowl teams from last season will miss the playoff's, when was the last time that happend?

Anybody watch the Vikes trash the Seahawks?

Just curious on some opinions there. Are the Vikes the real thing, now that Culpepper's back in his groove lost during his back injury? Or are they still fluke-ish, and are gonna waste a spot in the playoffs?

Let me know... I'm curious. Personally, I thought that the Seahawks coming in 8-4 (and leading their division 3-0) was going to make for a better game, if not a Minnesota loss. Under-utilization of the running game (Shaun Alexander only had 14 carries for 56 yards) screwed Seattle's offense all to hell. They tried playing Minnesota's long-passing game against Minnesota... AT the Metrodome, no less!!!

Who knows...

NFL is unpredictable. The Vikes looked solid, then get beat soundly by a very poor Oakland Raider team. Seattle looked good until they choked in the 4th quarter agaisnt Baltimore, now they looked like crap against the Vikings.

Seems that whoever starts playing well towards the end of the seaon, and can sustain that through the playoffs will go the distance.

I like the Titans, despite their loss to Indy.
NFC is Philly's.
