Testing a pic of a Chinook I snapped with my digital camera last evening. It looked a lot closer wth the naked eye....maybe it gained altitude while I was fumbling with the camera to avoid some new fangled stealth fighter that neither the naked eye nor the camera could see?...

Ah the good ole Kodak C310.
You need to change the clock from AM to PM on that camera Tock. You also need to bump the film speed up
from 100 to 200 if your even going to attempt to take a difficult pic like that. Did you zoom in much? With a 4MP
camera you probly wont want to zoom in more than about 4X before it will start getting blurry, but always remember
a zoom on a digi-cam will always look a little better on the puter than it does on the camera viewscreen.
If you use the big resolution size 2336 x 1744 when you take a special pic like that ( where it will be small on the screen ) the
subject will be of a higher quality so that after you look at the pic on the puter you
can zoom in and crop it on the puter and produce a better end result.

A 45 has a muzzle.
A 9mm has a bullet vent.

If I had a smoke grenade, rest assured I woulda popped it & threw it onto someone's roof to get them to come in closer.

And aside from Boomer's stealth fighter...this camera working a lot like a rearveiw mirror gave me an idea. How about an a C-130 flying straight in on approach and the PSed words "Objects in camera are closer than they appear"?

I had an idea. As a demonstration, and for scale...how about giving us a first look at the miniature Aurora UAV? By sending one to buzz the morning dove or planter it made it's nest in? Preferably inbetween the dove and myself.

Yeah, I'm demanding. Now I'll get more demanding...and order a different paint job. Those morning doves are territorial, and the UAV being mistaken for an intruding M-Dove is a risk we can't afford to take.

...and let's see if this pic ends up on a Chinese defense site, like the original Aurora stealth fighter did.

eh?? I dont think it looks anything like a dove already lolol . I had a much better version made but a CDT of the paint proggy ( probly cause a virus scan started up ) dumped about a half hours work :-(.

Eh, just for the hell of it I'll test these pics to see if they still work.

My Grandfather & Grandmother. Old pictures if you can't tell btw.

Now I only wish I had a picture of Fritz...a Mastiff my Grandfather used to own and did a bang up job training. According to my Grandmother, he could set anything edible on Fritz's snout, and Fritz would just sit there & drool for as long as my Grandfather told him to stay, an hour was the record according to my Grandmother.

And the other story about Fritz that was told by my Grandmother was if Grandfather said "watch her"..Fritz would back her into a corner and not let her move until Grandfather said otherwise. Quite possibly the earliest point in my life that I laughed on the inside. [
