On a related note, where would all of you, city/state-wise, say the best BBQ comes from?

I've heard Texas, Kansas City, etc....

Well being from Texas myself...

1. Hawg your wacked... and if you come to Texas and try that you will get 'wacked'

2. The best BBQ is from Texas

Since I am competely and totaly unbiased in both of these pronouncements they must be taken with a pound or two of salt.

Overkill??? I'd kill a fly with a howitzer if I had one.

Best BBq is from Texas if you like Brisket because they specialize in beef.

The best BBq is from Kansas City. Arthur Bryants has to be the best joint in the country.
I've used their sauces and rubs; they're excellent.

DEPENDS ON WHAT YOUR IDEA OF BBQ IS?

IS YOUR'S BEEF OR PORK? (CHICKEN DONT COUNT)
IS YOUR BBQ SAUCE ON THE SIDE OR COOKED ON YOUR MEAT?
IS IT TOMATOE OR BROWN SUGAR BASED?(VINGEAR TOO)
IS YOUR BBQ SERVED IN A NICE CLEAN RESTURANT OR IN THE BACK OF A OLD GUYS GARGE WHERE HE FIXES CARS DURING THE DAY?

BILLY YOUR NOT WACKED,IVE SEEN ALOT OF WERIDER STUFF IN CHILI. PANTYHOSE FOR ONE,CHOCALTE WHICH IS USED IN ALOT OF MEXICAN DISHES.
SO THEN IT COMES DOWN TOO
BEANS OR NO BEANS?

I PLAY IT SAFE I LIKE BOTH MEAT AND BEANS IN MINE

Wendy's is one of My favorite fast food joints next to KFC and McDonald's.

I'm actually a decent cook; I learned BBq myself because I got sick of my dad burning the s**t out of everything.

Ugh. I despise the beans. They are one of the worst tasting things normally used for food IMO.

I've been given wierd looks for making myself some chili that was beanless. Basically spicy meat sauce.

New Orleans has some of the most succulent, artery-clogging dishes I've ever seen; even I won't touch em'.
Isn't the mufflatta sandwich as big as a human head!?
