The ambhibious warship the USS New York, the first ship so named since 1917, and named in honor of the WTC victoms is to be built using steel salvaged from the WTC disaster.

The steel(approx 1 ton worth) will be incorporated into the bow section of the New York when she is constructed.

I am usually a strong critic of the Navy, but i have to say to this one...........

GO NAVY!!!!!!
