Forgive my ignorance, but I was barely in High school in 91, whats the deal with Speicher, besides hes been missing since then? What did he fly, why didn't we go after him or did we, how is it, if he was alive all this time haven't I heard more about him?? Can someone fill me in?

I guess its easier to get the skinny here than looking upo olde news articles.

Also, what do you guys, and gals think, is he alive?? Will we find him?

Heard on FOXs the other day that his initials were found in a cell wall that is all I think they said. My guess is he was a POW for a short while but I do not feel that he made it more then a few hours or days. Iraqi are not know for there good manners as jailers so I would guess when something happen to him they just did not say anything for fear of get in big trouble. <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>

He was a USN pilot whose F-18 was downed by a Mig-25 in ODS.

Many would say that becuase the USN TRIED to play it off as something other than an air to air loss against an obsolete russian fighter that they were not really interested in finding him, only to have him say his Hornet got splashed by a Mig.

I honestly do not know why more effort has not gone into finding him.

Hmm, that kind of tings been happening fairly often lately hasn't it? Obviously no non-agression pact between them and thier mutual hatred of Israel.

Wonder if this has any possibility of say, the Aryan Nation and Hezbollah getting in a scuffle? A thought, but it'd be an <u>ugly fight</u> I know that.
