On the General area talking about my days on T-39's and Thug had to say

Stop reminding us how old we are Ed!

I found this picture of my Tech School Class in 09/81, now the Chief has shown a picture of his \"Days\" and I'm going thru all my pictures and finally sorting them and came across it.
The thing about it is that during my time in the USAF I ran into at least of these folks.
So start digging up those \"Old Pictures\" just for \"Shits and Grinn's \" and we can feel are bones creek and moan together [lol] [lol]

See if you can pick out the \"Young Gosling\"

I say front row, 4th from the right.

Almost looks like my class photo. Except mine was on a Recce model at Shaw, and almost a year earlier!
I'll never forget my instructor....what a character!

Msgt George \"Spanky\" Spangler.

He was about 5 ft tall, maybe 110 lbs soaking wet, always had a mouth full of tobacco. and rolled around under the jet on a little stool with wheels on it.

SHaw was a fun place when I was there. My first \"job\" while waiting almost 2 weeks for my class to start, was to feed the catfish at the pond on the golf course! Twice a day, morning and afternoon I got to toss scoops of duck pellets into the mouths of ravenous catfish! LOL

I dont know how you mean
\"I say front row, 4th from the right.\"

I'll have to give in I'm actually the 5th from the right the one to the left of Mike.
Come on you should of figured it out I'm in the middle and the only one with my arms crossed.
The Guy with the hair was a Crypt o wash-out after 12 months of training.
The 3 in the front the Staff's on the right and left of her were the Instructors she was a X-cross trainee out of Admin.
The Tsgt on the far-left looking down smiling after a \"Wise-ass\" remark was a Army cross trainee Huey CrewChief/Door Gunner who had 15 yrs and 2 tours in Nam(THEY MADE they made him a E-6) and decided to ride-out his last years in the USAF after coming off Flying status .
He was a \"Hard ASS\" but he was a Great Role model to the class.
Another one of the \"Hippie's was a Com school wash-out and one in the back role was a Med tech school wash-out after the first month, couldnt stand seeing blood [lol] [lol]
We only had 30 days of Tech School because the USAF was short on Crew Chief since I was \"Airlift/Bombardment\" Half the class went to B-52's and KC-135's,2 went to FB-111's,2 Fred's and everyone else except me went to C-130's either Yokota AB or Little Rock.
I was the only one who went to TWA.

I don't think I ever had a copy of my tech school picture...but just to provide a time hack...it was taken in 2001.

Goose, that is no shocker at all. That picture probably sealed your assignment! :D

. Some of the Photos I recieved through the Years were mostly through friends. Most of the Schools we had an official Picture that they also keep On hand at the School House.

The only picture that I WOULD DIE FOR! is the one we took of the 76th AMU in 1989 when Capt Kris Prudy our OIC left, the whole AMU was in it and they gave it to her as a Gift, but only a couple of others (Top3) got copies.
Last place I knew for sure She was at Kelly AFB in the Engine area and a Major.
I cant remember her Married name but her Husband was the 74th's OIC at the same time 88-89.
Thats the one I want above anything else!
