I have gotten a few emails from people over the last few days, and its helped me get in contact with \"Old Friends\" from the 76th days (AL)which are Great!!

But in return, emails for those who are just looking for \"Pictures\" or other materials Who I dont have a Clue who they are is another thing..

I dont mind helping someone out, but if your a \"Stranger\" to me or anyone else here and you ask for something you need to introduce yourself Here and ask me or whoever on the board.
Dont send me or I'm guessing anyone else personal emails asking for these things.Because you wont get it.

If I know you or some one else here does thats one thing , but If you do email make sure you give your \"Screen name\" because I might not know who you are any other way.

So leave a Post or thread and then whoever your trying to get can have an idea who you are, because if not I'm just going to Delete you and not read your request.

It might sound like \"I'm a SOB\" but thats the way it is.

So please ID yourself here first , or like in the other cases in which we served together if your Name isnt in your email addy put your \"Call Sign\" in the topic or something that ID's yourself in the subject.

plus I'm going to take it easy for a few days, and take care of \"Mister Shitty\" so you know where to find me at the \"North Pond\"

I had just 2 that sent emails asking for \"Photo's\" .
I DONT HAVE A CLUE WHO THEY ARE, but just one email from each.
They never emailed again so no biggy.
I just wanted to make sure if it was a member to make sure they include their screen name.
Then I was happy to see one of the \"Old Crew Dawgs\" that some of us served with contacted me which is so no problem , but I appreciate the \"WT GAME WARDENS\" checking my \"6\"

True story, there is no vetting system other than those of us that have been apart of this sight for the past 5 years or more. Most of us know each other personally, and have met each other during WT Trips.

There have been others that Have error'ed in their missrepresentation of themselves, but having knowledge of there real Veteren status has allowed us to forgive, and move on and allowed those people to grow amongst us.

We have also had the wannabes that we have busted out very cruely through the years.

I don't know how busy the rest of you guys personal life is, but currently mine needs 4 lifetimes to keep up lately. So I always refrain from what I can involve myself in. I have a hard enough time finding the time to Stop over M&M's house, and Hell I havnt Dropped off a Box of Cookies to Dice's kids in over a year. ( Wow I feel like an ass, I made a point to do this on every holiday!) Havn't chatted with W30 in 6 months, although I get updates from him and his family from time to time. Others through email and so forth.

With all the Spam Bots, Forum Trolls, and so forth, I took my Real Email Addy off the site.

There are a couple Vetted sights I am a member of that utilise a Roster Check, Orders, Class's etc. to weed out the real from the Frauds. They also utilise a Mail lists for Vetted members and the general public, to handle the requests or other communications.

Maybe a Forum for \"requests\" should be made available. Those that want to participate, do so Freely.
