Wow! 26 years! Congratulations.
You sound like your pretty calm about it. I'd be nervous as hell.

Congrads Fender! It’ll take you a couple of years to find “who you are” again after so long in the military but, I’m sure everything will work out in the end. [salute]

Congratulations Fender, just keep in mind there is life after Blue..or Green as the case may be. It might surprise you to find out there's companies out there that actually like military experience, you just have to look around.

Congratulations. Just think, you can start growing your hair long like Dice and reverting back to the way you were \"back in the day!\"

Congrats buddy,

Very few have the mettle to survive and be \"Productive\" in 26 years of Service. You clearly Ran the Marathon and proved to your troops about what it takes to persevere to the end. This means so much more than the 6 Presidential Administrations you served.

Some of us are still trying to Find our Way after retirement!

Thanks guys. It truly has went quickly. I still vividly remember getting off of the bus at RAF Bentwaters and meeting MSgt Dale Yantz and SrA Wendell Tyner. My first Section chief and sponsor respectively.

Get this, I even remember what my P.O. Box number was and the combo to it! That is saying something considering I haven't been to Bentwaters since June of 85. Too bad I couldn't remember the stuff in my CDC's or PFE that well, LOL.

Someone mentioned being calm, well I am not really that calm however panic never helped anything. Someone will hire an old MSgt. Heck I am even back in college, Finite math sucks y'all.

Anyway I not sure what I will say Friday when it comes my turn to speak however I am sure I will be thankful for the Air Force and what it has done for me.

I haven't had time to take or post any pics yet. I am taking two classes this semester. One at lunch time, 4 days a week and the other one on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The M W class is Finite math and it is kicking my ass, so I have littel time to anything but study. Once it is over I will have time to take a few pics and post them.

Best of luck with the math class. Those are important with any field so study hard. What do you think you'll get into next, job-wize?

I am not sure really. Currently I am majoring in Business Admin. So I am looking for a job as a mid or even entry level manager to start. There is lots of industry around here that I am looking into. Right now I am just trying to enjoy a little time off and then back at it after Christmas.
