Well I redesigned the Warthog Pen (again) because my site has been kinda running on it’s own for the pasted few months. It had broken links, pages that didn’t match the overall theme, and it was just laying there doing nothing. The new design is nothing special but at least the whole site looks better and the links and all work. I have some clean-up to do and I haven’t finished a few of the pages but I would like you guys to take a look and give me some feedback if you would. Thanks in advance for looking and I’ll keep the site up until tomorrow so you can have a chance to look and then I’ll take it back down to finish the last few pages before the new year.

Dice-
Not sure if you are aware, but I think your video link titled \"F-4E gun run on a tank followed by A-10 30mm run\" is linked to the wrong video?? :?

Peace out....

Looks awesome. Good job. But one question. I send you last pics of the double seat A-10, but you don't need it in this item?

For i forget: Nice new wallpaper. I always use those on my pc at work. :D

Not to hijack the thread, but after reading the section Dutchy was referring to, it dawned on me that the 2-seater is just as bad-ass looking as the 1-seater.

In fact when looking at it, sometimes I think I like the looks of the 2seat better. But that's a hard choice. Maybe I like it cuz it makes it resemble the bronco...a little... I don't know...

Anybody else think the 2seat looks better?

Thats Nice Joe,

Clean, simple, but Eye catching. I want one of those Pen's too, How much?
You should talk to our \"Group\" of Writers and Artist, most of us have spent every extra penny of ours on to put up a \"Banner too\" it wouldn't hurt.

But I like it.

Goose

Jackb, Haven't visited the site in a while uh. [lol]
Thanks everyone for your kind words.

HogDog, I'll get the video links fixed today, thanks for the feedback. Yea I think the \"B\" model looks pretty bad-ass myself.

Dutchy, dude I forgot I had thoses, I just cut and pasted the old page onto the new one without changing them. Sorry about that, I'll get the pics added today or tomorrow. gald you like the wallappers, I own a big thanks to Kevin Jackson for the images, he take some kick-ass shots.

Goose, I got that pen at one of the big A-10 meetings (forget which one) a few years back, it even lights-up with a blue light. If I had more I'd give you one but, that's the only one I have. I don't follow what you mean about the banners?? If you mean paying to put banners on my site...I've never thought about that. All the banners I'll have on my links page are from people who have my site linked on theirs (kinka a banner exchange type thing) or have sent me things to use on my site like Kevin.

Thats what I meant, to off-set your time and money offer some space for sale to some \"Companies or Individuals\" keeping with the \"Theme\".

You know not for stuff like \"Loose 10lbs in 5 days, or use the \"miracle money system and YOU TOO CAN GET RICH\" Crap like on other sites.

You know what I'm getting at, plus you got Hawg Smoke coming up this year, their will be alot of traffic too with the \"Flying Tigers\" becoming 1 again.

If I was on better speaking terms with my \"Ex's family\" I was trying to get some \"Promo things done\" (ie flashlights, mugs, stuff) but that went \"TIT's Up!\" with getting a break from their business .

I still haven't given-up on that, just waiting for some , \" money I'm owed\".

Santa Goose has been \"Slacking off\"

Goose, nice suggestion maybe I'll look into doing something like that, you never know maybe the Warthog Pen could pay for itself. 8)

Dice I concure with Goose, it's a clean and effective design almost like the design you see on most blog sites today. I do have a suggestion for you that might cut down on your bandwidth usage. While looking at the html for your images pages I noticed that your loading the full size pictures as thumbnails. If you can make a smaller image in place of the larger picture and use that to link to the larger image it will cut down on page load time and cut down on bandwith.

As for advertising, if your looking at running ads, let me suggest Google's AdSense. The program really works, I've been using it on Flight Chief Aviation and while I'm not making a fortune, it does pay for my webhosting and domain registration.

If you ever need any help you know where I am.

Hitler, thanks for the tip on the images, I'll do that. I looked at the google ads and like them and signed-up. I'm not trying to make a killing off my website but it would be nice if it paid for itself.

Hey I just notice The Warthog Pen will be 10 years old next month! [banana]

I only had my first computer in 2001   , Way to Go Joe!

Getting back, do whatever it takes, if you can get it to pay for its self.
Spend the money else where!

Only thing I noticed squirelly about it, was the front page being off center?
The are showing the links to your other pages, center of the white are on the front page.

When I open it, it is off center to the left.

Maybe its just my settings or something, but that seems to be the only page I have seen do that.

I am seeing the \"off-center\" as well...
The page as a whole isn't, for instance the square around the News/Updates, sections, and the link to warplanes.com is centered on the page. But the title \"The Warthog Pen\" and the ink pen itself are not centered over the above mentioned square. They are a little right of center, though that may be due to the grim reaper graphic to the left of it.
Also, the \"News and Updates\" list of links is to the left of center of the square it is in. Also \"Webmaster and guestbook\" are left of center.

Maybe that makes the centering issue a little clearer?

OK now I see what you guys mean. I logged on from work and can see the alignment issue and know what the problem is, I'll get it fixed this weekend. Thanks Hogsnort and HogDog that was the kind of feedback I was looking for (needed). :D
