I just got done listening to most of the new album on you tube. I gotta admit, i was pretty blown away, it kicks frigging ass.

And Axl sounds great. Like in his prime great. Amazing, i had no idea he still had it in him.

Millions of rock fans prayers have been answered. GnR lives...

It's not G-n-R without Slash. Robert Plant didn't call himself Led Zeppelin, Ozzy didn't call himself Black Sabbath, Axl shouldn't call himself Guns and Roses...

You want to hear a kick ass CD pick-up Slipknots new one titled \"all hope is gone\". [shock]

If you want to get technical it wasn't guns and roses anymore when Traci Gunn left the band in the mid 80s.

Sorry Dice, that's silly. There was never a \"slash\" in the bands name.

GnR is back! :)

to be technical he wasnt refering to the \"Hyphen\" \"-\"

Dice is refering to \"THE MAN!\"

And I think with out the full package

Duff and Slash, It sucks

And Ozzy has always Rocked\"

It seems like all the great bands are putting out new records. AC/DC, GnR, Metallica, Motley Crue. These are some of my favorites and the new music just doesn't quite sound the same to me.

I have yet to hear the GnR one but i'm a bit skeptical.

Bands are full of people. As bands age and mature their music often evolves.

For instance, no two Led Zeppelin albums(imo the greatest rock band of all time) sound the same.

I like the new GnR. This song especially has grammy written all over it (Axl's voice is still amazing)....

While i think slash is a great guitarist, i also think that Robin, Bumblefoot and Buckethead are very talented too. On the one song on the album there are 5 guitar tracks going at once. :)

Yeah, i was blown away when i heard that song, i had NO IDEA Axl still had all that.

He sounds fantastic on that track. His vocals on This i Love are as good as any i've ever heard from him, and that's saying a lot, considering he is a legendary vocalist/frontman. The guitar solo is awesome too.

PS: Good to see you're still around Thug ole' buddy! :)

I wonder if he has gotten over his penchant for throwing temper tantrums when things don't go his way?
