As I don't have the problem of my phone ringing off the hook with job offers, I've decided to get back into the classroom. A fellow CATM instructor, also retired from the COANG, who lives in Colorado Springs, has developed an OUTSTANDING concealed carry training program. My wife and I took his class, which includes a discussion of all state laws governing use of force, castle doctrine, and other laws that can bite you in the ass if you are not familiar with them. For instance, theres a mighty fine line between a Citizens Arrest, and Felony Kidnapping. You have to know what you can and can't do under the law.
At any rate, I joined my old friend and his affiliation of firearms instructors called DeHLTA, which stands for Defensive Handgun and Long gun Training Association.
