I was watching the news tonight, looking at President Bush. I am not a religous man but something struck me how this man keeps rising to lead and comfort a nation in times of pain. May we keep him our thoughts and prayers as the his days a head force him to move our nation a head through grief of Columbia while steeling our nation confront the threats pointed at us.

Character is shown with adversity, Bush has shown he has it.

I've always like Bush, but Rumsfeld is a moron.

Trample the wounded- hurdle the dead.

My observation is just based upon how this man seems to rise to the occation and have Gravitas when the chips are down. I can name one one hand presidents who have face the same level or worse of national urgency Washington (revolution), Lincoln (Civil War), Madison (War of 1812), Roosevelt (WWII), and maybe Wilson (WW1). He is his own man, not his fathers second trip around.

Historically, he will be treated well I believe. But it is the here and now that makes me hope we will support him as nation. Recognizing we have jem here. Rather then playing lets get Bush for the sake of getting Bush in the political arena. <img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>
