I'm looking for anyone who has any documentation that could help me. I was assigned to the 23rd TFM / AGS 76th AMU from 1988 - 1991. I've been told that the 23rd was awarded an Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with a "V" device for combat actions. Dose anyone know anything about this? If you can be of any help I'd appreciate it.

THEY JUST GAVE ME A OUA WHEN I GOT OUT .ITS ON MY 214 BUT NEVER SAID WHAT UNIT.
MACK YOU EVER GET ONE?

I'll have to look at my DD214 and see. I don't recall whether I did or not.

You heard correctly, the 23rd did receive an AOU with Valor ("V" device) for combat actions in Desert Storm.

Randy are you sure? If you check the offical AF website it only has the 23rd recieving the OUA but not the "V" device.
