Does the top of instrument panel restrict forward view, or does the driver sit high enough to see clearly over?
Also, How does the Hog compare with the Viper in what you can see clearly outside the cockpit and what is obscured by instruments?

The F-16 has much better visibility out of the cockpit than the A-10 does. However, that's a function of it's design. If you look at the F-16 cockpit, the siderails at are about the level of the pilot's hips, which puts the pilots in a very high seating position. The A-10 pilot sits lower and is surrounded by the titanium bathtub. Outward visibility is still more than adequate and the Hog Pilot can see 360° outside.
