Well i was at the Nordhorn Range (in Germany) today and there were only 2 aircrafts this afternoon... Luckily it were A-10's.. long time no see!! still i'm astonished by the sounds of the GAU-8 gun, it really rocks.
gonna be there friday again, hopefully there will be some A-10's again, if the weather permits it.

You guys (A-10 pilots) must be one of the luckiest people in the world to fly this magnificent aircraft!

Oh man it would be sooooooooo good to see a Hog again, and on a range using the GAU-8 - that would be heaven!

Can you tell I aint seen a Hog for a couple of years and havent seen a Hog working a range for about 12?!?!?

Ah well am saving up now to join everyone in Hawgsmoke 2006! Fingers crossed its still happening then!

yeah, nowadays there on a very regular visit on the Nordhorn range!! to do some popup's, 30 degr. high dive bombs, level bombing and strafing!!

i hope the weather is better tomorrow... this weather sucks &^*

ps. who knows a spot where i can upload the movies to? i think they'll be around 50MB in size. TIA Brian

as well? Difficult because it's so loud.

the sound is just perfect. only the movie is very small, takes about 1 minute... it's not the best quality of filming, but then again, i was at a illegal spot, trying not to be caught by range personell.

i'll see what i can do with posting...
