He was hit from Behind. M249 2 bursts you can see the 3 Tracers, which is roughly a tracer per six rounds of ammo.

I have a fullscreen original of it.

First round (tracer) hits 3 feet behind on the pavement and Ricochet to his lower back, a Couple hit his left leg and arm, the second tracer misses the melon on the far side and the Lethal hits his left side of the melon. SCHWACK! Cancel Mecca!
