Took time today to reload all my door art and also marked them with tail numbers. The tail number of the door can now be found in the thumbnail and larger images's URL, either mouse-over the thumbnail or open the large image to seee the tail number in the URL. They are in order by tail munber 75, 76, 77 ect. and I also set a standard of 50 Pixs for the thumbnails and 300 pixs for the larger images to help with webspace and loading times.

Because of some copyright issues I did have to remove a few but I also uploaded new ones os I still have over 120 images. The ones given to me with premission to use them have also been marked with the persons name and website URL if known. Anyone who has sent me images and would like credit please email me with the door tail number and name (and website) you would like me to use.

I have a extenive data-base of door art from other sources but can't use them on my site. If you ever wonder if I have your aircraft (or one you are interested in) please email me and I will let you know if I have it and will send you any info I have on it. Thanks to all who have help me collect the door art on my site and I hope I can give you a book soon which will make you all proud!!

I see a very familiar door.....the hobbit! It was Jeff Kolln's jet 533 (I had 534 but didnt have door art) I may have a pic of 77-0222's door art the "Rajun Cajun", have to dig in some pics to find it.

Dice while my jet was in phase I had the background put on the door so it is just about done. I will send you updated pics this week.

By this time tomorrow I shall have gained either a pearage or Westminster Abbey........Nelson

Good job on the door art pics Dice.
It saddens me not to have had the foresight to take pics of the 930th jet's doors back in the day. Especially mine on 77-0181.
It was "Conan the Destroyer"
I've got a pic of my Dad and I standing by it, but that's the only pic I have.
If you recall the A-10 door at McClellan's museum of the red haired lady with the 45 over her breasts, that was one of ours too.
The aircraft was 77-0245, the original artwork was a pair of 45 Colts crossed over her. The meaning of course was obvious.
"Gentleman's Delight" 76-0535 and "Battlin Badger" 77-0184 are in a door art book were also from the 930th.
Those three are the only ones I know that were ever documented.
Cheers

Thanks D.B., I also missed some chances along the way like the art on the 70th jets, you never know what will be important later down the line. I'll keep collecting as long as I can so the will be a history of this art form.
