no during the 50 and 60's there was serious consideration about using lsd as a chemical weapon. the reason it was not was due to unpredictability of the soldiers who were exposed some laughed and surrendered others fought harder in the exercises beating the crap out everyone in site.

could you imagin a battalion on more on this stuff operating M-1 abram, etc
